These demons will keep hunting me
And it was never more than memories.
Throughout these years we grew apart
But I never left the desert
And I never will.
And now I leave this home as I'm older
and mortal as everybody else.
Goodbye, pretty desert skyline!
But when I saw them I realized nothing ever ended,
I'm still haunted by demons.
I never stood up to them,
I let them take over me.
Let me be back in the desert,
I hear the desert's calling:
"Don't get left behind."
